APPARATUS FOR GENERATING ELECTRIC POWER THROUGH UTILIZATION OF DIFFERENCE OF TIDE LEVEL

PURPOSE:To reduce energy loss of the above-titled apparatus, by producing a constant level of air pressure through utilization of the range of tide. CONSTITUTION:Along with rise of the tide level in an air pressure producing means 1, the tide level in a pressure increasing means 2 is also raised. Since a large amount of air is forced into the pressure increasing means 2, a transfer chamber 9 is moved upward by air pressure. Air, pressurized to a required level by the means 2, is forced into a pressurized-air inlet port 17 from an upper air outlet port 12 of the transfer chamber 9. This pressurized air is introduced into a rear chamber Y of a cylinder 18 via a control valve 22, advances a rod 18a forward, and thereby causes rotation of a rotor plate 19. Here, pressurized air in a front chamber X of the cylinder 18 is discharged to an exhaust passage 27 via a control valve 23. Further, the pressurized air is introduced also into another cylinder 18' and serves to turn the rotor plate 19.
