KATAKANA (SQUARE FORM OF JAPANESE SYLLABARY)-TO-CHINESE CHARACTER CONVERTER

摘要

PURPOSE:To realize the highly efficient and accurate conversion of Chinese characters, by deciding the sentence structure to a combination of parts of speech of a sentence clause supplied in KATAKANA. CONSTITUTION:For a sentence supplied in KANA, the conversion candidate Chinese characters are selected for each sentence and the clause information converted into Chinese characters by the supplied KANA letter train and the candidate Chinese characters is stored in clause memories 1a-1c with every clause and along with the information of parts of speech. The information of parts of speech stored in the memories 1a-1c is controlled by a control part 2 and stored in registers 3a-3c with every pair to be collated with the structure grammar on the connection relation of parts of speech between the continuous clauses stored in a grammar storage part 4. The collation is decided by a logical circuit 8 among these grammatical structures. In case an error is detected, the conversion candidate Chinese character sentence having an inadequate structure relation is erased.
