PURPOSE:To obtain a welding rod of easy welding work by covering a steel core with coating material contg. a specific amt. of carbonate of metals consisting essentially of Mg, and =1 kind of CaF2, MgF2, NaF, AlF3, cryolite and consisting of the balance a slag forming agent, and a desoxidizing agent.
