SHORTCUT DISCRIMINATION SYSTEM OF TOOL MAGAZINE

PURPOSE:To determine the turning direction of a tool magazine easily by comparing a current tool pot number and a next tool pot number with some variable sequentially, by finding the frequency of the holding of inequality, and by comparing it with the half of the total number of toop pots. CONSTITUTION:Under the control of a controller 11, a memory table MTA is searched to determine a tool pot number B which corresponds to NTL (tool)=B. In a register 11-2 in the controller 11, the tool pot number A of a tool equipped on a main shaft at present is stored. When Anot equal to B, a start signal ST is sent from the controller 11. Since a signal CL is supplied as an interruption command to the controller 11, the controller 11 knows the completion of operation by the command and supplied from a comparator 22 which makes a comparision between the values D of the said N2 and a register 23.
