MEASURING JIG FOR SIZE BETWEEN LEGS OF TRUSS OR THE LIKE

PURPOSE:To measure the size between the legs of a truss, etc., easily with high precision by using jigs which have a projection to be fitted in the fitting hole of the leg of a truss, etc., and a step conforming to the center line of the projection. CONSTITUTION:Projections 7 of two jigs are fitted in fitting holes 3 of legs 1 and 2 of a truss. In the other surface of each jig, a step part 10a or 10b conforming to the center line of the projection 7 is formed and when one side edge 12a of a steel ruler 12 is brought into contact with the step part 10a or 10b, the side edge 12a is aligned to the center line of the hole 3. For this purpose, the size between legs of the truss, etc., is measured easily with high precision by measuring the intervals between side edges 12a and 12a.
