PURPOSE:To prepare frozen slices of raw cuttlefish, by treating and slicing raw cuttlefish, mixing with leaves of beefsteak plant, laver, and thin slices of the meat of fish or shellfish, and freezing the mixture. CONSTITUTION:Guts, feet, head, etc. are removed from a cuttlefish, and the meat of the cuttlefish is washed with saline water and fresh water, and drained. Laver sheet, leaves of beefsteak plant, and thin slices of the meat of fish or shellfish, e.g. salmon, etc. are placed on the cuttlefish meat, wound spirally together, pressed in a metallic container, and taken out. It is then placed on a sheet of a packaging metallic foil such as aluminum foil, wrapped tightly with the foil, compressed by twisting both ends of the foil, rapidly frozen, and stored.
