APPARATUS FOR HEAT INSULATING FLUE DURING HOT STACKING AND REPLACING OPERATION OF COKE OVEN

PURPOSE:To heat a newly stacked and replaced wall and raise a temp. thereof without trouble by inserting a frame body freely emerging from and entering into a flue viewing hole of a coke furnace and a heat insulating material mounted to the frame body into a flue in a folded condition to heat insulating an upper part above a flue central stage part. CONSTITUTION:In subjecting a damaged wall to replacing and stacking operation in an A carbonization chamber, in order to secure a working space by encircling the corresponded damaged wall by a heat insulating material 30 in use concurrently with a working scaffold partitioning a B carbonization chamber into an upper and a lower chambers is provided to a middle stage part of a heating wall thereof so as to insulate heat from an oven bottom. Further, to a heating wall adjacent to the damaged wall, a similar heat insulating material 23 is provided and a heat insulating material 21 partitioning the carbonization chamber vertically to a longitudinal direction at a deep position with space for two flutes are provided and a heat insulating material 23 is provided to a ceiling. Thereby, heat from the carbonization chamber against the damaged wall is intercepted. Subsequently, in order to intercept raising of heat from a lower part of the flue, when a leading end of a frame body 36 comprising four steel wires is horizontally supported in a hanging condition by a hanging wire 37, a heat insulating material 38 inserted in a folded condition is unfolded and, thereby, the inside of the flue can be closed.
