A module element (1) comprises a transverse window section (2) of the bus body which is open from its buttends, a chassis unit (4) which includes a pair of wheels placed under the window (12) and connected by means of the suspension with the window section (2) and a transverse door section (3) of the bus body which is butted with the window section (2). A bus assembled of the module elements (1) comprises an intermediate section (31) of the bus body which is placed between the module elements (1) and which corresponds by its dimensions to one of the sections (2 or3) comprised in the module element (1). The module elements (1) and the intermediate section (31) placed therebetween are enclosed between the front and rear masks (29 and 30) of the bus body. The buses of one series are differing from each other by the number of the module elements comprised therein.
