The device is used for visualising video sonar information supplied by two lateral sonars and includes a video tube and an information processing circuit. This circuit has a digital-analogue converter, a memory unit for recording digital information comprising two memories one emptying into a central memory while the other records, and a circuit for administering information address in the memory unit to delineate the image on the video screen. The central memory has two sections, one of which receives even samples and the other odd samples. The memory unit also has a circuit for administering the address of the memory points inside the memory unit. A line of visualisation comprises 200 memory points, each being marked by an address representing its position in the line. Each line represents information simultaneously provided by port and starboard sonars.
