Mouth operated electronic musical instrument - uses opto-electronic couplers acting as mouth operated switched in frequency divider stages of sound generator

The instrument is contained in an elongated case which has a sound generator and a mouth operated keyboard along one side. The keyboard is in the form of a lath on which the lips may be placed. Instantaneously operating switches operated by the hands are located on one upper end of the instrument. At the other end are located the accompaniment switches in two rows. Opto-electronic couplers are glued to the keyboard and are connected into a frequency divider circuit coupled to the sound generator. A transformer provides a low voltage power supply from the mains to power the various circuits through a rectifier and stabiliser circuit.
