The hand grip in resilient material is partic. intended for a bicycle handlebar. It consists of a sleeve with a corrugated internal contour whose smaller-dia. annular portion fit on the handlebar. The material and dimensions are such that the corrugated external finger grip contour is obtd. by fitting the sleeve on the handlebar. The profile of the internal contour may be sinusoidal in longitudinal section. The axis of symmetry of the internal contour may be parallel to and at a distance from that of the handlebar. The sleeve may be injection-moulded in, pref. thermoplastic, rubber.
