摘要
This device, which is clamped onto the neck (1) of a guitar or similar musical instrument has three push-button keyboards and an electronic memory circuit (16) to control solenoids (12) which push pressure pads (11) to hold the strings (3) onto the frets (2). The keyboard (13) on the side of the unit has a number of keys each of which cause the memory circuit to select a different chord, by pressing the strings down onto different frets. The keyboard (14) at the lower edge of the front of the device is used to select particular frets on single strings. The third keyboard (15) has long keys which run down the neck, and are used to 'damp' the strings. The device is held in position by means of lips which sit on the edges of the neck and a screw clamp (10).
