An assembly of two spaced metal members (2, 4) and two thermal insulation elements (38, 48) disposed to insulate one member from the other is disclosed. Each metal member comprises two spaced limbs (6, 8, 14, 16) extending towards each other. Each limb has a first surface (22, 24, 26, 28) spaced from and facing a first surface (26, 28, 22, 24) of a respective limb of the other member and a second surface (30, 32, 34, 36) opposite the first surface (22, 24, 26, 28). The first element (38) extends from one member to the other, has first surfaces each engaging a respective second surface (30, 34) of the members (2, 4) and second surfaces each engaging a respective surface of one pair of facing first surfaces (24, 28) of the members (2, 4). The second element (48) has opposed surfaces each so engaging a respective surface of the other pair of facing first surfaces (22, 26) of the members (2, 4) that each second surface (30, 32, 34, 36) of the members (2, 4) is urged against the respective first surface of the first element (38) and the second surfaces of the first element are wedged between the said one pair of facing first surfaces (24, 28) of the members (2, 4) to provide a rigid assembly.
