Abstract of the DisclosureA punch and die set for operation by the ram of a pow-der compacting press, comprising at least three concentricallydisposed telescopic punches independently reciprocable within asingle die cavity. Each punch is separately supported by apunch holder plate, one of which is directly reciprocable fromthe press ram, another of which is reciprocable by way of appro-priate abutments dependent from the first punch holder and thethird of which is independently reciprocable relative to thefirst one by way of, fluid pressure.
