ABSTRACTAn interpolation instrument for interpolating betweenknown graphically presented data is provided. The instrumentcomprises a preferably rectangular frame and a series ofelongate, parallel elements extending across the opening insaid frame at selected spacings conventionally equal, from oneanother. The elongate elements are preferably parallel strandsof a common filament. A locating means is provided for retaininga selected point on the frame at a known point on the graph.This is preferably an aperture for receiving a drawing pin sothat the instrument may be pivoted about the pin, or a pin fixedto an adjustable arrangement.
