LAST FOR FOOTWEAR IN PARTICULAR SPORT SHOES

The last (1) is for a sports shoe with the sole edge (5) passing all round in a closed ring, defining the transition between the sole and the upper (9). Straight lines (10), perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the last, join points on the opposite edges of the sole end define the plane of the sole. The lines are horizontal at the heel (10h-10g) and at the front of the foot (10C-10d). In the instep zone the line (10e-10f) is sloping down (from 10e to 10f). In the zone of the big toe joint (9) the line (10a-10b) is sloping down (from 10b to 10a).
