The mechanism consists of a support which carries the control mechanism. There is a tubular element(8) in the support which forms a cage(14) over the entire width, and has several longitudinal grooves(15,16) to take free running rollers(17,18,19). A control rod(20) is mounted centrally on the tubular element over its entire length. The mechanism is motor driven and the central rod(20) is moved by a hydraulic cylinder(36).
