Indoor demountable curved running track - has lanes with different cross slopes permitting high speed tight curve running

Straight and superelevated or banked curved sections, and pref. four lanes, are incorporated in a running track, esp. for indoor halls. The demountable track is supported on uprights and has a plastics surface. The transverse inclination of individual lanes in curves differs. Curved sections comprise an entry canted piece, a curve sector and an exit canted piece. In the course of the first canted piece, the innermost lane drops approx. 20-30 cm., the second continues on the level, and the outer ones are superelevated by approx. 20-30cm. The inside edge of the track is mountable on a support edge in a floor depression. Each part of the track is additionally mounted on one or more stilts. Runners can negotiate small-radius curves without losing speed.
