Length measurement on difference scale maps - using measurement wheel probe producing pulses for control with scale programming

It consists of a counter unit (1) connected to a pulse generator probe (10) with a contact measurement wheel (12). The two units are made to operate together. They may be adjusted for different scales and measurement is performed by rolling the wheel along the measurement path on the map. The scaling is programmed in the counter. Pulses to be counted are fed to the counter via a cable (13) connecting the probe to the counter. The measurement wheel operates a switch via a cam and pin to trigger the generation of pulses corresp. to wheel rotation and leave distance covered.
