Bending press for pipes - has bending tool with staggered circumferential grooves, and pipe clamp locked relative to grooves

The pipe bender has a turnable bending tool with circumferential grooves of different radii of curvature. A pipe clamp with clamp shoes moves together with the bending tool. The pipe is retained by a turning/advance unit. The circumferential grooves (12,13) of the bending tool (6) are located in a common plane, but staggered relative to each other, in circumferential direction of the tool. The bending tool and the advance unit (3) are adjustable relative to each other in this plane. The pipe clamp unit (9) may be locked relative to the bending tool in several rotary positions, corresponding to the circumferential grooves.
