Water adsorbing insert for food packages - contains filling of kieselguhr mixed with aerosil in water permeable paper foil

The water adsorbing insert for food packages is used especially for meat, poultry, fish and sausage. The pack consists of a foil bag which is permeable to water and made from an acid free paper, intended for direct contact with the food. The bag, normally made in a flat shape, has at least a partial filling consisting of kieselguhr, made up of a mixture of 0.2 to 2 parts of aerosil mixed with 100 parts of kieselguhr.
