Overhead supply line for local railway - uses main or secondary suspension cable for electrical supply, coupled at spaced points to feed cable

The line carrying a voltage of less than 15 kV has the single or double wire feed cable (1) suspended via evenly spaced suspension elements (5) from a suspension cable which is strung between fixed points (A,B). The suspension cable is formed by a main cable (2) loosely strung between the fixed points (A,B) and a secondary cable (3) attached to it intermediate these fixed points via spacers (4) either or both used for the electrical supply. The suspension elements (5) are attached to the secondary cable (3) in the vicinity of the fixed points (A,B) and are attached to the spacers (4) in the central part of each cable loop. The supply line exhibits a uniform elasticity.
