The calibration system is for bushes that are a part of galvanic elements. A bush (5) is moved with its open end into a ring of bearings or rollers (4), which roll off the bush jacket. Simultaneously, the diameter of the bush is reduced, and/or the wall surface is finished. A cup-shaped bush is rolled-in about a cover, held in its open end, and thereby sealed. The calibration appliance consists of a cylindrical retainer (1), rotating on a motor shaft together with a ring bearings, and a ram (3) with ball bearings, and concentric to it, to act as an abutment.
