This bi-polar nerve stimulator for observing muscle response, is battery operated and portable. It is readily sterilised. A pulse generator with variable amplitude control (15) is mounted in the front section of this instrument from which two electrodes (4) protrude. A battery (3) is contained in the rear section, the two sections being screwed together to form one insulated unit (10).
