Forklift truck providing variable operator working position - has drivers seat and steering column turnable through 180 deg. inside cabin

The forklift truck has a cabin (6) in which the drivers seat (7) swings through 180 degs. in a console (8) inside the cabin and is connected by an L-shaped bar to the steering wheel (10). This is connected to the wheels by an hydraulic steering assembly. The cabin is provided with operating pedals (14,15,14a,15a) at each end of the floor. The seat is provided with foot support bars (17) which also serve as switches to disconnect the seat and steering and operate the seal turning mechanism. The seat frame does not project over the side of the chassis while turning, thus minimising overall width.
