Knife holder with child-proof removal system - has projections to be released prior to removing knives

The child-proof security system is such that each knife (10) is surrounded by the holder on all sides except for the removal point. The knives are locked against removal by a projection (23) which is guided on the holder and can be moved into and out of the path of removal. One projection is pref. associated with each knife with all the projections coupled together so that they can be brought in unison in and out of the locking position. The holder itself is pref. designed as a stand with the knives hanging in a circle symmetrical to the axis.
