The picture frame is made from a basic unit which can be made in one part or two parts connected together with an inclined cut window. The frame can be made from plastics or where smaller sizes are required from cardboard or paper wherein the individual parts can be stuck together. These individual parts can be a picture insert and a backing. The basic unit can have any external shape and colour. The inclined cutout provides better viewing of the picture since there is no shadow.
