Programme sequence control in a multi-programme language teaching system

To distribute the sound and switching signals present within an electronically controlled electro-acoustic multi-programme language teaching system between the circuits of a central switching station and those of a number of student's stations, a control value with several inputs and outputs is provided which, by means of preprogrammed logical line connections provides the possibility that each learning programme can be called up from each student's station by a fast copying process and disadvantageous mutual interaction is avoided in the case of multiple selection of the same programme. These mechanical or electronic line connections can be controlled at the central switching station. They can be cancelled here at any time as freely determined by the controller or a particular learning programme can be mandatorily connected to one or a number of student's stations. The state of programme allocation is transferred to the student's stations via suitable signalling devices.
