In a method for determining the vapour pressure curves and vapour/liquid equilibria of mixtures of substances, wherein the mixtures of substances are brought to the boil, a) the mixture of substances is rectified in a still having at least two column sections with a differential pressure of at least 300 mbar at infinite reflux ratio, b) in the steady state, product samples from the mixture of substances are taken in each case at one or more points of the column sections with preferably simultaneous measurement of pressure and/or temperature, and these product samples are then analyzed for their percentage composition, for example by gas chromatography, and c) the lower-boiling components of the mixture of substances are partially removed as distillate, and the measurements mentioned under b) are then repeated.
