Scaffolding pole connection - bracket on one pole fits between two parallel arms on the other pole

The bracket is welded to the first scaffolding pole. The support on the second scaffolding pole being joined to the first has two parallel arms joined together and spaced a little apart. One of the arms is fixed to the second pole, and the other arm has a lengthwise slit in it to take part of the fixture bracket. The slit runs from the free end of the arm and ends at where the two arms meet. The fixture bracket has a straight T-shaped cross-section, with the stem of the T fixed to the first pole and the cross-piece of the T forming two surfaces touching the arms of the supports. Locking devices maintain the connection of the two poles.
