The table lighter has a cylindrical casing which is fitted with a central boss (10). The casing is ballasted (8) up to the level of the boss (10). The casing is closed by a top plate (22) which seals the casing and supports a well (20) in the centre of the casing. The well is held in position by a central screw (24). The screw fits into the central boss (10). The well holds the lighter body (16) kept in position by means of the inner ring (20d).
