The cage comprises a rectangular shaped solid floor (2) equipped with feet (3), used to support the four vertical sides. The top (4) of the cage is made from parallel wires. These are used to locate a suspension loop (5), and also a swinging perch (6) inside. One rear long wall (7b) and the two end walls (7a) are similarly made from wires one of the latter having an access door (8). The front long wall is made from one sheet (10) of rigid transparent plastic material, the panel providing suitable visibility and protection against draughts.
