Device for moulding ridge tiles in series from cement or any other waterproof material in a continuous casting plant either by grouping moulds into a moulding unit or by sequential translation of a chain of moulds, using a vibrating table and opt. a conveyor, is described in which a predetermined no. of mould volume is arranged vertically at regular intervals and joined together by dismountable rigid joints. Each mould volume is formed by the relative position of a mould and a die made of metal or plastics, with smooth surfaces maintaines vertical and at a fixed distance apart corresponding to the thickness of the tile. These subassemblies are grouped in predetermined numbers by means of rigid wooden blocks. After exact positioning of the mould-subassemblies using centring pins the subassemblies are mounted together with assembling rods passing through the thicknesses of the blocks such that pressure is exerted uniformly throughout the group of tiles being moulded. Each mould group is completed with a head plate and base plate.
