A transition device for coupling coplanar and parallel ribbon transmission lines comprises a dielectric substrate plate (9) having base conductor (10) of preset width dispersed on the earth plane of the ribbon line on one face of the plate and a ribbon conductor (11) of the same line on the opposite face, both having a common longitudinal axis (DELTA). The coplanar line is also on the opposite face and comprises a central ribbon conductor (12) on the common axis (DELTA) and two earth plane lateral conductor zones (13, 14) parallel to the central conductor.
