The four wheeled (4, 5) play cart provides a seat (1) for a juvenile driver, has twin handle bars (2) by which the front wheel axle (14) can be rotated about a vertical axis (13), and is propelled on a serpentine path as the driver applies alternate twisting movements through the handle bars. A moulded monococ seat may be fixed on a 'V' shaped chassis bar (8), the rear axle (9) being fixed in forked cranked returns of the leg ends, and the apex supporting the handle bar fulcrum pin. The handle bars are 'U' shaped in plan and elevation, provide hand grips (11) on their top extremities, inc. a foot-rest (3), and extend basally aft of the fulcrum pin and beneath the chassis apex to support a narrow front axle (14). The fulcrum pin (13) may comprise a bolt traversing plates which are fixed to the handle bars and the chassis, a pair of ball-bearing races being located between plates.
