The cooling system for a drink dispensing machine includes a refrigerating unit with a tube through which the refrigerating medium is circulated, connected to a coil (14) fitting around the container (36) holding the liquid from which the beverage is formed. Around the outside of this coil is a second coil (18) formed by the tube through which the beverage inside the container is conveyed to the mixing system. Between the inner coil and the container is a cylinder (16) closed at the bottom, into which the container can be inserted and removed. This cylinder and the coils around it are embedded in a block (14) of insulating material. The container, which has a safety valve (42) on top, also has two connections (34,38) for two flexible tubes (32,40) connected to other parts of the machine. The container and the cylinder holding it are made of heat conducting material.
