The machine for stringing tennis or other rackets has a frame supporting a cradle which hold the racket frame horizontally and can pivot through 360 degrees. Each string (4) is tightened after it has been put through the frame by a lever system. A vertical lever has an arm on its lower extremity on which another arm pivots, supporting a counterweight and resting on a roller fixed on the end of a second vertical sliding on a bar. The lever moves an arm joined to an upper arm which moves from a position near the frame to one further away.
