PROCESS FOR ELIMINATION BY WASHING, ESPECIALLY IN MULTIPLE STAGES, OF ACID COMPONENTS, SUCH AS CO, HCN AND IN PARTICULAR HS, WHICH ENTER INTO THE FORMATION OF GASES, IN PARTICULAR COKERIE GAS, USING A AMMONIA WASHING IN A CLOSED CIRCUIT, THE AMMONIA COMBINES WITH THE ACID COMPONENTS DURING THE WASHING BEING RELEASED BY AN ACID REMOVAL PROCESS AND RETURNED IN THE WASHING CYCLE, CHARACTERIZED IN THAT THE NH CONDENSATE OBTAINED IN THE STAGE OF ' REMOVAL OF ACIDS IS DECOMPOSED, IN ANOTHER STAGE, INTO HIGH PURITY LIQUID AMMONIA AND WATER WITH LOW NH CONTENT, AND THAT THE LIQUID AMMONIA OBTAINED IN THIS STAGE IS REINTRODUCED INTO AT LEAST ONE STAGE OF THE WASHING CYCLE.
