The baritone oboe has the hole (2) for the B natural note capable of being stopped by the first finger of the left hand. This is performed using a holed plate (3). A trill is also possible. The F fork, with plain plate (4) can be obtained by stopping, using the first finqer of the right hand. Alternatively, a holed plate can be used. This action is not a direct one, but supplementary. The hole for F can thus be on the other side of the instrument.
