Double partition-type tobacco drier - uses solar heat passing through transparent partitions to heat air in pipe

The heating occurs in a pipe. This is formed, on one side, by the roof (b) and/or a closed drier partition and by a transparent partition (e). The roof and/or partition are tinted black to absorb as much heat as possible. The transparent partition can be of glass, plastics or a transparent sheet of tissue. The drying can be done by air heated in a heat exchanger zone. The insides of the non transparent partitions are blackened.
