Horizontal axis wind turbine for domestic use - uses four-blade horizontal axis wind turbine pole for heating

The wind turbine is mounted at the top of a 10m high pole placed near a dwelling house, and drives a dynamo mounted at or near the top of the pole. A storage battery at the base of the pole is used to store excess energy and to supply energy when the dynamo output is insufficient. The wind derived energy is used to power the lighting circuits of the house. Additionally, a solar panel mounted either on the roof or on the top of the pole supplies heating to the house. The four bladed wind turbine is coupled to the dynamo which may be at the top of the pole or fixed to one of the regularly spaced mounting holes provided along the pole. The solar panels are supported on their hot and cold water pipes.
