The trailer has a chassis (1) carrying a front axle (2) pivoting around a vertical (3) axis and a rear fixed (5) axle. It has a second chassis (7) connected at the front by a coupling (8) to the first. The second chassis also has, at its rear, a steering axle (9) which pivots around a vertical axis (10). There are coupling links (12) between the front and rear pivots so that rotation of one axle causes an equal but reverse rotation of the second. The chassis coupling can have detachable pivots in an axis perpendicular to that of the frame.
