The orthopaedic pillow comprises a main border (2) which is rounded and of greater thickness than the other parts of the pillow. An auxiliary border (3) is opposite the main part (2) in relation to the symmetrical centre line of the pillow (1). Between the two border parts is a central pad which is thinner than the border. The pillow has an inner layer (5) and outer covering (6). A lower, flat surface (8) forms a support.
