A two-row implement 100 is provided which, in a single pass, performs the following operations on laterally spaced strips of established pastures. Firstly, a skim 122 and discs 126, 128 remove turf and throw it laterally. Then, a spring tine 132 cultivates the exposed soil and a fertilizer boot 134 deposits fertilizer. A pair of spring tines 142, 144 and associated finger tines 146, 148 break clods and produce a tilth, while seed delivery tubes 154, 156, 158 deliver seed to the prepared soil and a press wheel 172 firms down the planted earth.
