A method and apparatus for automatic detection of artificial grassland and partial subdivision of land cover map using near infrared aerial images are presented. It is a method of automatic detection of artificial grassland and partial subdivision of land cover in apartment complexes using near-infrared aerial image.It is one of the sustainable financial resources to apply green infrastructure policy and calculate impervious surface for accurate rate calculation. For this purpose, it is necessary to extract the area information of each land cover item in the GIS environment more accurately, and to cover the land cover in the impervious area. Therefore, a representative example for classifying permeable areas in impervious areas is to provide a method for partially subdividing land cover maps by automatically detecting artificial grasses in apartment complexes using near-infrared aerial images.
