PURPOSE:To form a uniform anodized film to each working tooth by placing a rotatable anode roller opposed to a cathode plate and constituting a peripheral surface thereof by an electroconductive elastomeric layer. CONSTITUTION:A peripheral surface of an anode roller 2 is constituted from an electroconductive elastomeric layer 3 obtained by compounding titanium, a titanium alloy powdery particle as an electroconductivity imparting material to an elastomer material such as a synthetic rubber or a thermoplastic resin having rubber like elasticity. During a fastener chain (f) from a feed-in part 5 to a feed-out part 6, one surface of the working teeth of the chain is closely contacted under pressure with the elastomer layer of the anode roller rotated by a guide roller 7 and, when a predetermined voltage is applied to the elastomer layer, electric current is directly supplied to each working tooth of the fastener chain to form an anodized film.
