FLOWER BUD DIFFERENTIATION PROMOTING AGNET FOR STRAWBERRY

PURPOSE:To promote the differentiation of flower bud of strawberry at an arbitrary growth stage, and to harvest the strawberry early in the season, by applying an agent containing a potassium salt of a condensed phosphoric acid as an effective component to the strawberry plant. CONSTITUTION:The differentiation of strawberry buds can be promoted by applying a flower bud differentiation promoting agent containing potassium salt of a condensed phosphoric acid (e.g. potassium salt of orthophosphoric acid, pyrophosphoric acid, tripolyphosphoric acid, and tetrapolyphosphoric acid), to the soil for the culturing of strawberry, and/or about 1000 times with water before application. The strawberry treated with the agent can be harvested e.g. even at the beginning of November, which is earlier than the normal harvest by more than one month.
