PURPOSE:To maintain soil at the moisture suited for crop culture by controlling the flow rate of treated water in such a way that the pH of soil at a specific distance from the side edge of a trench attains 1.4-2.4 and adding H2O2 soln. into the treated water when the pH drops to =1.4 upon long-term use. CONSTITUTION:The treated water produced by the secondary treatment of the sewage discharged from general home or a cattle shed or the like with the other device is introduced through an introducing pipe 5 into a treated water cylinder 6. The treated water flowing into a sprinkler pipe 7 seeps into the seepage soil 1 in the marginal parts on both sides and in the upper part of a trench through sprinkling holes. The seepage of the treated water into the soil is controlled in such a way that the pH value of the soil at the distance 40-60cm from the side edge of the trench and 30-50cm depth attains 1.4-2.4. When the pH of the seepage soil decreases to =1.4 upon long-term continuous seepage, the H2O2 soln. 10 in a tank 9 is added slightly each time into the treated water to be introduced into the trench so as to restore 1.4-2.4pH value of the seepage soil.
