PURPOSE:To stabilize the Q value of a coupling tuning fork type oscillator, to improve it and to stabilize the oscillated amplitude and frequency, by supporting the base of the oscillator with a folded supporting wire. CONSTITUTION:The displacement Uy' toward the Y' axial direction of a base of the oscillator 5 is reduced, two-layer plating of Au-Sn or Pb-Sn is applied to an electrode metallic film of the base of the oscillator 5, and the two-layer plating is supported with a folding wire 6 having 180 deg. of folding with a molten and solidified eutectic alloy solder 8. The shape and size of the wire 6 is selected to a suitable value to absorb the displacements Ux, Uz' toward the X and Z' axial directions, and the fixed part of the wire 6 is taken to the node of oscillation and the oscillation component of the node is taken to a value close to almost zero.
