PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of the resulting titled alloy by providing a specified composition consisting of C, Si, Mn, Cr, Ni, Co, W, Mo, Ti, Al and the balance essentially Fe. CONSTITUTION:This high strength inexpensive cast alloy showing superior corrosion and oxidation resistances at high temp. in a combustion atmosphere has a composition consisting of, by weight, 0.55-1.9% C, 0.1-3.0% Si, 0.1-2.0% Mn, 28-39% Cr, 25-49% Ni, 1-8% Co, 0.5-10.0% W, 0.5-9.0% Mo, 0.1-3.5% Ti, 0.1-3.5% Al and the balance essentially Fe or further contg. one or more among 0.005-0.20% N, 0.01-1.50% Nb, 0.01-1.5% Ta, 0.001-2.20% B and 0.001-0.20% Zr.
